Country Inn’s location in DeSoto, Iowa affords us the luxury of being close to so much of what Iowa offers without being right in the middle of it.

DeSoto is in Dallas County, Iowa’s fasting growing county.  And, we are just west of Iowa’s capital city, Des Moines -- Iowa’s premier arts and entertainment venue.  With that said, we’re a small, comfortable motel situated just past the bustle of the metro and outside the confusion of the city.

If shopping at West Des Moines Jordan Creek Town Center or antiquing in Valley Junction is your thing, let our relaxing hometown appeal be your resting spot at night.

If you’re a baseball fan (Iowa Cubs minor league baseball) or if soccer (Des Moines Menace) is your passion, we offer just the right spot to unwind after the day’s excitement.

Madison County is another local draw touted as the birthplace of John Wayne and home of the famous bridges of Madison County featured in James Waller’s novel The Bridges of Madison County.

The Dallas County Conservation Board invites you to enjoy its natural resources and recreation areas.  Whether you’re canoeing at Redfield Dam, fishing for catfish at Kinnick-Feller Park near Adel, or picnicking at Adel Island Park, let us be your home away from home.

Whether you would like to enjoy unique Dallas County historical and cultural resources, such as the Forest Park Museum and the Redfield Depot, or visit the county’s museums and historical buildings, contact us at Countryside Inn.

Whatever your pleasure, we’re close to it all.  Be our guest at Countryside Inn!
